Present day, most everyone is content with where Androids sit in terms of personal freedoms due to the fact that all Androids are pre-programmed with the three laws of robotics and contentment with ownership. Despite this, Androids have been the center of much political debate in relation to how much personal freedoms and rights they posses in comparison to their human counterpart. Originally Androids were only for industrial use and were never available on a commercial level for the common citizen to own until the " Vocaloid " was invented in the last decade. The first Androids, as they are known in present time, were made centuries ago and mass produced in response to the planet's vegetation crisis (See Plants ). All Androids possess an AI so advanced, its thought process is near identical to humans.
